Description

With its 1,237 hectares stretching from an altitude of 600 metres to 1,869 metres at the Pointe du Môle, Saint Jean de Tholome is a rural commune nestled in the Môle massif.
With no through traffic, it enjoys a peaceful atmosphere and stunning views of the surrounding valleys. In an ideal setting, today 1,006 souls reside in this dynamic village where numerous associations work to promote harmonious coexistence and where services are offered to the population (nursery, local market, after-school care, etc.), not to mention the many holiday resorts on our ‘Les Balcons des Grands Prés’ loop, a 25 km route that crosses part of our territory for walkers, horse riders and mountain bikers; the climb to Le Môle from Chez Béroud. There are two restaurants open for dining: ‘L'auberge du Môle’ and the bar ‘Chez Moi’ in the main village, with its high-quality burgers.
