Ville en sallaz
12Leaning against the southern slopes of the Brasses massif and facing Le Môle, halfway between Geneva, Annecy and Chamonix, Ville-en-Sallaz is a village whose territory stretches from 610 m to 1,220 m altitude, 5 kilometers west of Saint-Jeoire.
It is bordered to the south by the Thy river and Lac du Môle, a small artificial lake covering 11 hectares. It borders the communes of Viuz-en-Sallaz to the east and north, La Tour to the west and south, and Peillonnex to the extreme south-west. Ville-en-Sallaz is a village made up of numerous hamlets and villages. Its inhabitants are called Villageoises and Villageois.
