Horseback riding route - Les Balcons des Grands Prés - Circuit 1

This easy hike offers one of the most beautiful views of the Geneva basin and the surrounding Brasses, Vouan, and Voirons mountain ranges ! On horseback, follow the pedestrian markings (yellow arrow on a green background). By horse-drawn carriage, follow the carriage markings (orange).

Starting from the heart of the village of Peillonnex, let yourself be seduced by a 7 km trail that combines heritage and nature. After passing in front of the magnificent 12th-century priory, the trail opens up to breathtaking landscapes : Les Brasses, Le Vouan, and Les Voirons reveal themselves to you in all their splendor. The route takes you along pastures to the charming village of Marcellaz, before returning through the woods to Peillonnex : an accessible loop, ideal for savoring the richness of the area.
